5 Blogger Kitchens We Love

We find inspiration for our kitchen designs everywhere, from local restaurants and the pages of magazines, to the manufacturers we work with and of course, around the internet. One of our favorite sources to scour for design ideas: decorating blogs. No matter what style kitchen our clients are looking for, we know a blog we can look to for inspiration. Here are a few of our favorite blogger kitchens we've come across in the last few years.

Erin Gates's Kitchen

Of course, we have to start with Erin Gates. She's a local blogger whose home in metro-west Boston is only a few miles from our office. Erin remodeled the kitchen of her historic colonial home a few years ago, and we love how she accents a classic design with of-the-moment touches like brass light fixtures and hardware.

Our Vintage Home Love

More and more of our clients are asking for open shelving, and this kitchen from Our Vintage Home Love is a great space to show off. It pairs gray lower cabinetry, another big design trend, with rough-hewn open shelving for a rustic-industrial look we love.

Emily Henderson's Kitchen

Emily Henderson embodies a style that's booming right now: it's a little bit bohemian, a little bit vintage, and a little bit classic. Her style inspires creative, out-of-the box thinking that still feels stylish and put together.

Bethany Kirby's Kitchen

Bethany Kirby, the blogger behind Local Milk, has another kitchen we can't get enough of. She also uses the open-shelving concept, but her space has a more old world-luxe feel thanks to marble countertops, a beautiful range, and white cabinetry with classic rubbed bronze hardware.

Rachel Parcell's Kitchen

Mega-blogger Rachel Parcell of Pink Peonies has a kitchen design that shows off some of the most common design requests we get for our clients, like a light, airy all-white space, marble countertops, a subway tile backsplash, crown molding, a pot filler, and brass-tone hardware.
