A Transitional Waltham Kitchen Renovation
We love this next kitchen renovation for a multitude of reasons. It's stylish, efficient, and incorporates top-of-the-line technology and appliances. Plus, it feels modern and clean without shunning the colonial style of the home it's built in. In other words, it's the ideal fusion of form and function. Let's take a tour, shall we?
The homeowner wanted to create a bright, airy and open feeling from the kitchen, despite it being a closed-concept space with windows on only one wall. To do so, we paired white cabinetry with light-reflecting surfaces like the glossy tile backsplash and stone countertops.
We also took advantage of what natural light was available. Here, we installed a cozy window seat near the kitchen entrance off of the side of the home.
The homeowner chose Bosch appliances for their mix of good looks, quality, and cutting-edge technology.
The island is the workhorse of the space, serving as a breakfast bar, prep area, display case, and storage spot thanks to rows of drawers which house cookware and small appliances.
To homeowners didn't originally have a pantry that suited their needs, so creating one was high on the list of priorities. We installed a built-in closet-style pantry which is roomy enough to store essentials and easily accessible from the work zones of the kitchen.
