A Delightful Dover Bathroom Design
Our latest bathroom remodel took us to the beautiful MetroWest town of Dover, where a couple wanted to create a master bathroom suite that was worthy of the rest of their home. The original bathroom space was cramped, inefficient, and outdated. It also wasn't a reflection of the couple's personal taste or style, and despite being off of the master suite, was definitely nor designed for two. To create the homeowner's ideal space, the room had to be renovated from the ground-up. The old fixtures, tiles, and plumbing were torn out, and the layout was reconfigured. Even the doors to the room were changed.
Check out the finished results of this Dover bathroom design, below.
The entrance of the space was outfitted with a set of rolling barn doors to create a unique, special feel for the space.
The doors open to reveal a beautiful granite-topped vanity for two.
A large, weathered wall mirror adds warmth to the space, and contrasts the polished nickel vanity hardware and plumbing fixtures.
The vanity drawers were designed with function in mind, with organizers allowing both husband and wife ample storage space.
The couple desired a shower with a spa-like feel. White marble tile and a frameless glass door were used to ensure the space felt serene.
The shower fixtures were also done in polished nickel to create a uniform look throughout the room.
Finally, a built-in shelf and custom-fit teak bench are little details that go a long way in making the space feel bespoke and luxurious.
